We stayed in the Belle Opaque room, which was an upgrade from the room I booked. It was very nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the linens and towels were luxurious. It had a separate large living room with a fireplace that felt like being in an old city home. The rooms were very clean. The location was perfect for the Rittenhouse part of the city -- close to the park, stores, and restaurants, yet on a quiet side street. The staff was helpful, when asked about a place to keep dinner leftovers cold, they quickly brought in a portable fridge, and got wine glasses on our request. I chose this hotel, because the larger, chain ones I typically stay at were fully booked, and I'm glad we did.

Carla

This was a pleasant hotel and is very well located in Philadelphia. The beds were comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was a nice, varied continental buffet. There were plenty of restaurants in the immediate area. There was water and coffee in both the room and in the lobby.

Barbara

Location was fantastic and the room was very comfortable. There's a great bar attached to the hotel and the bartenders are excellent. Breakfast was also enjoyable, a fairly simple affair (hard boiled eggs, toast/pastry options, yoghurt and fresh fruit) but it was all fresh and perfect to start the day.

Dana

Beautiful hotel in a historic building just off Rittenhouse Sqiuare. Really comfortable beds, complimentary tea/coffee water and a great continental breakfast. But it was the super friendly staff that made the hotel stand out, particularly the amazing Doug on reception . Would 100% staff here again.

Maire

The charm of a bed and breakfast, but the privacy and professionalism of a hotel. The staff are incredibly nice, helpful and professional. The breakfast options were limited, however there are PLENTY of places to eat in the area. The overall experience was warm and cozy.
